The NEW GCT Series Gage Head Transmitter is available in four different ranges from 0-.250” to 0-2.0”.
The two wire loop powered sensor is ruggedized for harsh environments because of its stainless steel, hermetically sealed housing and MS type connector.
The .750” OD body can withstand up to 1000 psi of external pressure and has a spring force of 8oz (max) depending on probe position. Loop powered, the GCT series Gage Head Transmitter is ideal for industrial environments where AC power is not available and long cable runs are expected.
The 4-20mA signal is much less susceptible to EMI and RFI than AC or DC analog signals.
Its spring loaded front end allows the sensor to measure the desired motion without having to be hard fixed to the measurand. Applying LVDT technology, the GCT series has infinite resolution and repeatability of less than 1 micron.
