Accelerometers are transducers suitable to measure vibrations, detection of mechanical impacts, velocity and acceleration monitoring, as well as tilt detectors. This transducers are offered ready to use (plug'n'play) and for embedded applications.
Based on the construction technology, the accelerometers can be DC response type or charge mode type (piezoelectric). Charge mode accelerometers are available with integral embedded electronics (IEPE) or as direct charge mode output. Bridge, half-bridge, conditioned output and digital output are available in several models, as well additional embedded electronics for temperature compensation.
The accelerometers are available with measurement range from ±1g to ±20,000g and operating temperature from -73ºC to +300ºC, with 1 axis (monoaxial), 2 axis (biaxial) or 3 axes (triaxial). Frequency response available up to 20kHz in some models.
