Metrolog MDS1000S Digital Indicator

The MDS1000S Single Digital Indicator is a precision equipment designed for dimensional quality control in production lines.

Its input channel is compatible with LVDT and Plug gauge from many manufacturers.

Two tolerance limit set points, indicated by three leds, quickly indicate if the actual measurement is within specifications or above/under the specified limits.

For machine automation there are two relays activated by the limit set points; both NO and NC contacts are available from a bottom connector. Additional relay disable feature allows quick activation/deactivation of the relay contacts by a simple button click, simplifying the machine stop during new part positioning or maintenance.

The MDS1000S also features a zero knob lock function, digital scale and polarity selection, digital tolerance limits set point adjustment, and USB and RS232 digital interfaces for data acquisition and SPC applications.
